Whether you're looking for a quick introduction or a more in-depth fishing trip, we offer guided sessions ranging from 1 to 3 hours, in 30-minute increments: 1h, 1.5h, 2h, 2.5h, or 3h.

On-the-Water Sonar Training – Learn to Read Your Fish Finder

Private lesson

  • THEORY AND PRACTICE ON LAKE

    • 1 hour theory and 1 hour on the lake

  • Understand sonar display screens and settings

  • Identify different fish species based on sonar data

  • Recognize underwater structures that attract fish

  • Sonar frequencies

  • Fish depth and range

  • Identiying fish arches

  • Cone angles on fish finder

  • Echoes or returns

  • Review traditional 2D sonar, side Imaging and down imaging

$175/person

2 hour course

Master your sonar with our on-the-water training sessions. Learn to read 2D, CHIRP, Down Imaging, and Side Imaging to locate fish and structure more efficiently. Perfect for anglers wanting to get the most from their electronics.

Payment method : 50% Interac deposit of the excursion when booking in order to secure date, the remainder during your fishing excursion (non-refundable deposit except in the event of cancellation by the guide). A tour may be canceled by the guide in the event of exceptional circumstances. ​In this case, I will contact you to arrange another date.Transferable to a future outing if cancelled due to bad weather.
